About the Canadian SUEDE Society
Our Mission
The Sexual Understanding & Education for Digital Equity (SUEDE) Society is a British Columbia based non-profit organization committed to strengthening comprehensive sexual health education systems through equitable access to inclusive, evidence-based education.
We translate research, lived experience, and community expertise into practical tools, strategic partnerships, and innovative solutions that improve how comprehensive sexual health education is delivered. By working collaboratively across research, education, healthcare, and community sectors, we help ensure that every young person has access to high-quality, affirming sexual health education, regardless of where they live or the barriers they face.
To achieve this, SUEDE develops and shares free, evidence-based digital resources that support educators, organizations, and communities in delivering comprehensive sexual health education wherever it is needed.
VISION: When all youth receive top tier sexual health education, we will have a generation that feels comfortable in their own skin, and appreciation for their peers around them, and the skills they need to foster healthy bodies, relationships and communities that include us all.

Our Efforts
1
Comprehensive Sex Education Curriculum & Resources
Our comprehensive sex education curriculum aims to provide a holistic understanding of sexual health, consent, pleasure, safety and healthy relationships. Through interactive digital resources, we empower youth with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and foster respectful attitudes.
2

Community Engagement & Advocacy
We believe the strongest solutions are built collaboratively. Rather than duplicating research or community engagement, SUEDE partners with researchers, educators, youth, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure our work is informed by current evidence and the lived experiences of the people most affected.
